How will I know if my child will respond well to ABA therapy?If your child has been diagnosed with autism, you will very likely see substantial progress and transformational behavioral change through ABA therapy. ABA is a scientifically proven therapy for children on the autism spectrum, endorsed as an effective therapy approach by both the US Surgeon General and the American Psychological Association. During our initial assessment, we will go over all of the specific intended outcomes and will address any concerns you may have about moving forward with treatment.

Can I choose the dates and times of my child’s sessions?We always try to offer parents as much flexibility as possible, and we will work with you to ensure our services fit seamlessly into your schedule and your lifestyle.

How many hours of therapy are needed per week?During the initial assessment, we will evaluate your child’s areas of developmental challenge, and will formulate a customized treatment plan. The number of hours of therapy needed vary greatly depending on the needs of each child, but the average number typically falls between 15 - 25 formal therapy hours per week.

Will insurance cover my child’s ABA therapy services?Although this does depend on your specific family insurance coverage, many insurance plans do cover ABA therapy sessions.

Is your team multi-lingual?Yes, we are able to accommodate children of many different language needs, including those who speak English as a second language.

Can I choose the location of my child’s therapy sessions?Yes, absolutely! In fact, we encourage parents to schedule sessions in their own home to keep their child in what is perceived as a safe, familiar, and nonthreatening atmosphere. If you would prefer a secondary location outside the home, that can be arranged as well.
